With R$600 million in cash, Dimensa, a joint venture between Totvs and B3, has put its M&A machine to work and is announcing its third acquisition since the beginning of 2022.

The company announced the purchase of 100% of the capital of Vadu, a fintech that automates and brings intelligence to the processes of credit prospecting, execution and analysis, as well as post-credit monitoring.

"We are working to close our ecosystem of offerings and services to have an end-to-end solution for our customers," Denis Piovezan, CEO of Dimensa "And we understood that we needed to have a risk solution."

So far, Dimensa has invested $90.4 million in three acquisitions. The first of them, in January this year, was the startup InovaMind Tech, of artificial intelligence and big data, for R$26.9 million.

Then it was Mobile2you's turn, which develops applications for companies that want to enter the fintech market. The value of this deal was R$23.5 million.

According to Piovezan, Dimensa seeks assets focused on providing infrastructure for the financial industry, such as banks, insurance companies, funds, and assets. "We have been talking to many companies," says Dimensa's CEO.

Vadu currently has more than 300 clients among banks, fintechs, and industries from different segments of the economy, and about 35 employees, who will now join Dimensa's team.

Founded in 2021, Dimensa does over 5 million credit operations and over 6 trillion assets processed daily through its platforms. Currently, it has 550 clients, including Wadu's, and serves more than 140 financial institutions.
